This isn't exactly what I wanted to post for my first pic. but I never got around to taking any before this happened. It wasn't even a year old yet.

What happened? Sadly it looks like its totaled

 

Traffic came to a sudden stop in an unusual area, the guy in fornt of me stopped hard and I couldn't stop hard enough.

I don't think it's totaled but I don't know yet, I should find out on monday.

 

oh that just sucks butt~! sorry to see that.. yikes!

It probably is mad......At me for crashing...

 

How did you feel after the accident? Did the airbags etc do its job?

 

Doesn't look like the airbags even deployed O.o

 

I'm glad you are OK, but I'm sorry your xD isn't. I hope it all goes well on Monday for you.

Right after the accident I felt fine, a little dazed but okay otherwise.
As for the air bag going off. I guess it did its job. I have a small burn (like a sunburn kind of) on my hand from the powder discharge. it really didn't hit me as hard as I've heard some people say.
It was a fairly low speed crash i was going less than 30 mph when i hit the brakes. not sure how fast on impact.
In all I'm impressed with how well the car handled the impact. the crumple zones and airbag did what they were supposed to, and i was able to walk away.
There was no noticeable damage to the passenger compartment. but it looked like everything from the fenders forward was damaged.

 

I had the same thought earlier today. at least i still have a sense of humor...

 

haha yea man, when i totaled my first tC i just looked at it, touched the front bumper and proceeded to say, SON OF A B!TCH!!!! I JUST SPENT 6 GOD DAMN HOURS CLEANING THIS POS!!!

 

tomorrow morning I'll be going to the body shop and getting with my insurance people.
I'll try to get some better pictures. and I'll let everyone know the outcome as to the extent of damage.

Walking away is a good thing! Your ride did its job and it looks like you an save it. Hope your back on the road soon.
