Help with sub?
So frozone's back again. two part question
1. Whats a nice little sub i can just plug in somehow to my stock stereo system. i have just basic HU. or maybe a nice one i can find used. i dont have an amp so idk if thats a problem.
2. I might change all the speakers out of the car to something a bit better cause mine like to bottom out and rattle the driver door. whats a decent brand? nothing top of line just better than stock?
Thanks
If i can DIY this stuff it would be easier.

Well, If you are not looking to replace your head unit and you would like to add a sub you will need a line out converter, to convert the speaker out put of the deck to a Rca output.
Yes you will need a amp for the sub.
And your speakers may not be the problem with your sound, Often puting in a aftermarket deck will improve sound quality greatly.
Perhaps you should us the search function there are tons of articles on line out converters, and decks vs new speakers.

infinity basslink is a great basic option that you can find on ebay for pretty cheap. i had one in my xa and it sounded very clean and hit decent for what it is. plus it doesn't take up a lot of room. i know they sell one now with a built in 4 channel amp as well in case you want to amp up your door speakers later.
