Default RS 1.0 Caliper Paint

Any suggestions on where to find Hot Lava Caliper paint. Or a color that is very close. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Go black or go home.

Well... just go black. You're probably not going to find any sort of "caliper" paint to match the RS1 and if you're off by too much, it'll just look bad with that color.

the only other color that would look good (maybe) besides black is a color that matches your wheels. again, thats a big maybe...

I would go black honestly. Why paint your stock calipers a bright color when there is nothing to show off?

If you seriously want to go rs1 on your calipers. Just buy 2 colors or 3 and mix them as best as you can. If you want to get pearls in there go to a shop that sues Dupont paints and buy some powder pearls that you think would match.

you can always hit up a body shop to mix a can for you, just make sure its a high temp paint.

That orange does not look like Hot Lava at all... and if the color is off by just a little, it's going to look worse than something far off. It'll look like you tried to match it and failed.

Default Samples

Thanks for the posts. My shop is going to get some samples of the G2. We are also going to consider using yellow. Saw yellow on a Orange Flame 360 and it looked alright to me. Refer to link to see the 360. http://clubscuderia.co.uk/forum/show...f5c32c&t=19927

that looks so-so... i think it would look better with more of a darker gold color/light bronze for the calipers.
