A buddy of mine told me that he knew this guy who did a tacoma swap and made his 08 xb RW. Is this freakin possible?!

yea this is old news..it does fit but with custom fabrication. You can basically fit any engine into any car only if you have the money and time.

That's with the swap. It's twin turbo'd as well. I'm pretty sure the entire block has been beefed up.

it would be sick but impracticle for daily driving because there would be too much turbo lag

and its a tundra v8 not a tacoma engine
pushing about 1100hp
