LED Tails - Need Advice
Hi everyone!
I just bought a Blue Ribbon Metallic 09' tC and this is my first post. I'm not new to the online forum community (belonged to a civic forum and used to own a 01 civic until it broke down - long story short, I screwed the dealer and got a good trade-in value) so I know it bugs the hell out of people when you don't search. I have searched for this topic but could not find any relevant results (particularly to the lights I'm interested in). I need your advice in picking out LED tails for my tC because I think the 08/09 tails are disgusting! The round rings are just too ricey and they remind me of spider eyes. Also need to know which aftermarket LED tail lights are the most reliabile and provide good lighting (don't want to get rear-ended). I'm taking TYCs out of consideration because they are just too pricey - feel free to talk me into them if you think they are worth it.
The tail lights that I have in mind:

Reminds me of the new accords out there. What are your thoughts? THANKS!

If you want quality... TYC will be the better ones for the tC. Anzo is another brand that is OK... though I really don't care for any of their designs. I just hear good things about them.
Be careful on eBay. There is a LOT of generic crap out there.

I second that TYC is very good quality. I bought a pair for my black cherry pearl and love them. I think they would look really good with your color too.
Not sure if you've heard of www.trdsparks.com, or what your budget is, but they will definately save you money on parts for your tC! A pair of TYC's from sparks is 255 vs the 375 that Scion wants.

TYCs fo shizzle, I just wanted to say that for once.
But go with TYCs you can tint them or do what ever you want to them. Also, shop around try trdsparks.com or Toyota of Pullyuap. Check my spelling on that It is a dealership in Washington
They both have good deals on just about everything you would want for the Tcs

besides the quality is immaculate!!! just as a comparison, find the viewfinder on one of the LEDs of TYC's... they fill out the reflector cone "as called by me- viewfinder"
now take the anzo's or any other brand- look at the viewfinder... they dont fill the reflector completely...
thats why I go for TYC's hands down!!!

Super easy to do and looks supa clean.
Go with TYC's. Anzos are nice but all the ones I've seen installed don't fit the rear housing like the TYC's do. Plus on top of that Anzo's require the OEM harness (new from the dealer is $20 each).
I'm looking to go back to TYC's. I have a new design that no one else has....but 1 person (did theirs but no camera on hand).
