According to the tech thread I've found diverging info: one says 15x5.5 and then there's 15x7. Anyone know the torque recommended for xB wheels?
I'm guessing the 5.5 is the steel rim width and the 7 is the alloy width? Also, is the stock tire size for all steelies 185/60-15? What is the size of tire for the alloy wheel?

The stock steelies are 5.5" wide... If they were 7", I wouldn't be looking for new wheels...

Anyone ever weight the stock steelie rim w/o the tire and rim cover? I'm curious- so far I've experimented with 3 sets of rims/tires:
1. Stock- 36 lbs, w/o the wheel covers
2. 18x7.5 Diablo D15 Rims w/ 225/35-18 Falken FK-451 GR-Beta- 46 lbs
3. 15X7 Enkei RPF-01 with shaved 205/50-15 Kumho Ecsta MX- 26 lbs
My xB with the Enkei (9.9 lbs/each) rims really accelerates appreciably quicker. Think about it, 10 lbs less per corner of rotational mass. It equates to more than just 10 lbsX4=40lbs.
With the light Enkei rims, my gas mileage also shot up. Light rims has huge dividends in the long run for mileage.

Define "shot up." I want numbers.

the factory alloys are 6 inches wide.
