I'm going scientific on this one. My girlfriend owns a 2007 toyota corolla, I'll just swap wheels with her and see what happens. boober 09-17-2008, 02:43 AM So what happened? :) Zefoxe 09-17-2008, 06:09 AM yea they will, it might look funny if there isnt enough tire though :P PHATBLK 09-22-2008, 05:10 AM Did you try? I chuckle every time I see someone with an 18" or bigger wheel. I've never understood why people bellieve this is a performance mod. Will 15" fit on XD? I want to decrease rotational inertia as much as possible. gbrnole 09-22-2008, 12:43 PM Did you try? I chuckle every time I see someone with an 18" or bigger wheel. I want to decrease rotational inertia as much as possible. oh no, that's all aesthetics! spaceclown 09-22-2008, 05:33 PM I have not tried. GF refused to let me borrow her wheels. katchkillah 09-22-2008, 06:23 PM Did you try? I chuckle every time I see someone with an 18" or bigger wheel. I want to decrease rotational inertia as much as possible. oh no, that's all aesthetics! true, cause i think the car looks horrible with that gap between the tire and fender. if i wanted performance i would've went with another car. but it's a scion it's all aesthetics. katchkillah 09-22-2008, 06:30 PM if you see this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v36/katch/white%20xd/xdcruise2.jpg or this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v36/katch/SEHC%202008/neo34.jpg there's a difference. if not i'd just drive a stock one and blend into the crowd. LOL TheJonas53 10-18-2008, 05:42 AM 15" rims do fit. I have a set of Rota Slipstreams on mine right now. xD_kidd91 12-26-2008, 04:24 AM 15" rims do fit. I was going to do black tC wheels until I really looked into 15"s I still have 2 of them I have to sell yet. I was going to do a wide setup but without alot of body work it would be impossible. And I found the Rotas sort of by accident. xD_kidd91 12-31-2008, 04:04 AM Your lucky. This just motivates me to go to craigslist and hopefully find a set on accident aswell :P lol TRDxD 12-31-2008, 07:50 AM damn those slipstreams look amazing...my hat's off to you for going small :D 15"/16" is perfect size imo...i hate even going over 17... TheJonas53 12-31-2008, 06:19 PM Thanks guys. They are 15"x7". I dont know the offset. I thought it might be stamped on the inside but no. The tires I am using are 225/50R15. TRDxD 12-31-2008, 06:40 PM sounds good...great work :D misformartin 01-07-2009, 11:28 PM rofl... its a performance mod when they are forged or 3 piece 18's and wiegh less than your 15's rofl.... : ) gg ssr ftw misformartin 01-07-2009, 11:28 PM rofl... its a performance mod when they are forged or 3 piece 18's and wiegh less than your 15's rofl.... : ) gg ssr ftw UnTouChbLe_D 01-20-2009, 09:24 PM nioiiice didn't do it on mine thought the caliper was going to be a trouble _____ hehehe Cylon_xD 03-14-2009, 07:43 AM Haha, you could keep going and go to an even smaller wheel... My 1982 Renault LeCar had 13" wheels with just 3 lugs on each wheel, lol... and big, tall 85 series tires... Who's your Daddy?! :P  http://troyfrey.com/scion/lecar2.jpg TRDxD 03-14-2009, 10:51 AM the le car could be my daddy! or like...my third cousin seven times removed? (what in the world does that even MEAN.) but i like those little cars :D haha Cylon_xD 03-14-2009, 03:59 PM Haha, yeah, that car's 8 years older than you! Ah well, I miss that car too, it was a fun little scooter to drive - had a huge 1.4 liter 85 hp powerplant (put put!) - the only bad thing about it was it had no air conditioning. My xD reminds me a lot of this car - probably why I bought the 'D, lol! But my xD goes like h*** compared to the LeCar, so it's even more fun to drive! anyway, thought I'd post up that old "tuner" pic just for a good chuckle... :P TRDxD 03-14-2009, 05:30 PM haha, the reverses mesh's dont make me chuckle they make me drooollll :D......haha Cylon_xD 03-14-2009, 07:57 PM Oh, you like the mesh wheels, do you? I got them at a local Renault dealer, they had another used LeCar, a dark blue one I believe, sitting on the lot for sale with those wheels on it, I asked them if I could just buy the wheels off the car, do a swap, so they sold them to me for $100 for the whole set, along with my trade-in of the stock steelies to put back on the other car... so I have no idea what brand they were, even... I really liked those wheels too, they really added to the look of the car... Ah well, can't touch even used alloy wheels for $100 a set anywhere nowadays, especially at a dealer, lol! Those were the days... TRDxD 03-14-2009, 09:12 PM man...that sounds awesome :(...not only that, but all the oldschool rims have skyrocketed in cost due to rarity...oh well :) it's what makes em special DeiselFuel2o2 06-29-2009, 03:39 AM The advantage of 15's performance wise is that you can go lower than with 16's without rubbing if you run a 195/50r16 re11's from brigstone. SUPER sticky tires with lighter rims = performance. Lower suspension = less roll, less roll = better cornering. The advantages just keep going and going and going. get 15's slam it on coil's and get the 115 dollar a pop extreme performance summer tires. Tell me ur car is slow then! haha 15x7 with those tires and you should be auto X king...or atleast feel like one. 15's look better anyways. xDTool 09-25-2009, 08:36 PM Thanks guys. They are 15"x7". I dont know the offset. I thought it might be stamped on the inside but no. The tires I am using are 225/50R15. Didn't think it'd be as hard as it is to find tires for the 15's, just tested fitted my new 15's and getting ready to buy some tires that will look right, hehe, might have to try the 225/50's like what you're running. What actual tire are you running?
