scottxd 09-04-2008, 08:26 PM true that, and the picture was stretched when it was origanally posted to my club forums, so it looks kinda weird ill take a normal one and post it up
sodo_moj0 09-07-2008, 01:50 AM I've been looking all over for a good deal on tC rims for my NBM xD... they look great... makes me want them even more.
ack154 09-07-2008, 01:51 AM Hmm... I'm going to withhold my opinion until I see at least day shots... preferably after being lowered.
lower it and it will be HOT!
OPINIONATOR_xD 09-07-2008, 02:45 AM hmmm... it takes getting use to but they're not bad at all.
do you know the offset?
gbrnole 09-07-2008, 05:32 AM hmmm... it takes getting use to but they're not bad at all.

7" wide with a 45 offset. wish they were a 35 offset!
Wutachampion 09-07-2008, 05:36 AM Doesn't look bad at all! However from this picture, the xD looks suspiciously close to an SUV....like one of those izuzu axim or w/e they were called
CarbonXe 09-07-2008, 05:41 AM Looks like an SUV.
Metro273 09-07-2008, 05:45 AM ^^^Wow! It does look like an SUV... :P
ChelsDS 09-07-2008, 06:07 AM Might look like a SUV but we have more hp than first gen boxes :P

with that said i just snagged a set on ebay since my fuel efficiency has gone to hell in a hen basket on my heavy 18's
jbanderson 09-08-2008, 02:23 AM hey what size tires are those running? thanks
gbrnole 09-08-2008, 03:43 AM hey what size tires are those running? thanks
the white is tc stock 215 45 17 which is actually a hair undersized and the silver is running 50 series which is a tiny bit oversized.
you're good either way.

ill probly go with the 215 45 for better mileage.
im guessing the Tc rims cant weigh more than the steel stockers?
thanks again

the tc rim / tire combo is actually ~1lb heavier than stock if i recall but that will have zero impact. the smaller tire might show you getting a hair better gas mileage because it would be a false positive only because your tires are smaller than stock. if the tc rims you get come with stockies then run them for 12k - 15k miles and get a set of tires closer in size to the original.
the big downside to an undersized tire is that even though you feel all warm and fuzzy inside because your gas mileage looks like it's doing a bit better you're actually putting miles on the car more quickly - miles you haven't actually driven! :P
jbanderson 09-08-2008, 09:58 PM yea but I cant see it making much differance. maybe 200 miles out of 10000, lol. I would have to calculate that up though Im just guessing. i dont know exactly how much smaller the TC tires are.

the exact difference is 2.44% so yeah, 244 miles over 10k lol - that said the stock tc yokohamas are only good for about 10k anyway :P
jbanderson 09-09-2008, 02:37 AM I was close! lol thanks for the info
