Default S2000 seats in the xB2

instead of allowing the entire forum to thread jack FINALLY's thread i decided to post this up.. i swore that i already posted this once but i couldnt find my old thread.. maybe it was a different forum?

ive had these on for a good 4 months and they are pretty sweet. i got them for $400 from a friend and i got Precision Muffler (gabe/stylis) to install them for me.. you can spot him in a couple pics setting my carpet on fire

and you can kinda see it in this pic.. thats riboflavin/jin in the back acting like a turd

psh... dont tell me what to do. you aint my dad

but even though pics are worth a thousand words these pics need explaining...

first pic. this is the front. gabe chopped off the bolt holes and welded up these "risers". the scratches you see on it are just cause i didnt a pretty bad paint job and was rough on the re-install

second pic. from the rear. the left is the same metal as the front and because the bolt on the right bolts to the "tunnel" he fabbed a support to strengthen it

like racing seats it will throw lights. the driver side does not have the side airbag so the dash throws a light. the passenger seat has no weight sensor or side air bag so the passenger indicator light is flashing.

and also like racing seats you cannot adjust the height. its set as it is.

thats why I said please...
thanks if we could only find out what ohm the airbags are. I remember someone using some resistors and fooling the airbag system into thinking it was still plugged in. But his was on a subaru. not sure if would work on our cars... so DONT try it.

Why not try it? All you'd have to do is remove the negative terminal off your battery, let your car sit for a few minutes, unplug the air bag, then probe the plug with a DMM. Sounds pretty easy, and a helluva good idea! I would've never thought about a resistor!

Looks good, bro! Helluvadeal on the S2000 seats, too! I've always seen them go for at least twice that.

the resistor trick works on the before 07 tcs and the 07+ are like ours and they changed the plugs and pinouts.. I had 4 months to work out this problem and have yet to find a solution..

looks like you got plenty of space if you wanna throw some stackable amps (alpine pdx or jl hd) under one side, and a sub under the other.
