Default Auxilliary input for an Alpine 9833 head unit

Hi - I am aiming to replace the stock unit on my xB with an Alpine 9833. I'm new to this and need some help. I want to plug my ipod into it through an aux port. The ports I've seen at Crutchfield are basically a vlink to RCA plug adapter that looks pretty raw. Is there something that looks a little more neat - like a panel that I can fit above the radio or something? I was hoping for a more streamlined option - clearly I have not done enough planning on this.

Thanks!
Tim

Why don't you get the Alpine Kca-420i?

I was hoping to get something with a mini-din plug so I can plug other devices like a MD player.
