STOCK SHOCKS and struts are they ok to use with 1.4" - 2.2" drop springs like Goldline, Spy, Sprint, H&R or Eibach or do I definatly need the TRD shocks and struts please help me out because the TRD ones are alot of money thanks  ............

pretty much everyone in cluding myself, just run the springs with the stock struts/shocks,,,,just make sure you cut the bump stop about in half when u install the springs and u should have no probs. the trd ones just make the ride real stiff....if u wanna get some other shocks/struts, go with some that have a shorter stroke, like the spys.

you will be fine with the stock struts. no reason to replace something that isn't broken.

But how long do the stock springs last, before you have to change them?

you never have to change the stock springs. only if you want a s,oother/stiffer ride or you wanna lower the car for a better look

Sorry, I meant to say the stock shocks...I wanted to lower my xb with some aftermarket springs w/ trd shocks.

How long will stock shocks/struts last? It depends on how many miles you drive, condition of the roads. Normally 5 or more years.

The roads in my town SUCK, I have been in 3rd world countries with better roads!! My wife blew 2 struts in 30 days on our minivan hiting the same pot hole. The city finally fixed THAT pot hole when I threatened to sue them!
