Has anyone put Tanabe Df210's on their 08 xB? If so how is the ride compared to the NF210's? I've read how much people love the ride quality of the NF210's, but the drop isn't that dramatic. I want to drop my xB pretty low, but I don't want to sacrifice the ride quality too much. So if anyone has experience with either of these please let me know. Thanks.

I've installed 2 sets. They're good springs. Ride's a little more harsh than stock, but I don't think they're that bad. I think Eibach's are a little lower and Tein has been "in the works" on some uber low springs.

All in all, I <3 my Hotchkis springs.

dfs are allittle stiffer then the nfs but thast cuz u get the drop.

tein s techs are in R&D right now and thatll be the lowest spring drop u can get without doing coil overs.

but if u want low low low deff ksports. full adjustable so if u can go as low untill it just rubs

So what would you recommend for the best (and most comfortable) drop ?

Is the ride smooth on the ksports ?

Only if you fully understand how to adjust them, and then still not quite as soft as just changing out springs.

Hmm, I see. So would ksport coilovers be a good investment you think?

If you want to go REALLY low, understand their adjustment, and like the best handling currently available, then I would say yes.

If you just want a low ride (but not the absolute lowest), easy install, and don't want to bother with working out the best adjustment for yourself, then just get a set of springs such as Hotchkis, Tanabe DF210's, or Eibach Sportlines.

To see how low coilovers can go, and how good they look, do a search and look at NoLimitzInd (Ksport's) or Go_Hin (prototype Cusco's).

My ride is a everyday driver and I like aggressive looking wheels (19") that are almost flush. With the pothole filled roads we have here locally, I don't think I would go any lower than the Tanabe NF210. The feel and control is much better than stock, but still retains the comfortable suspension.... to a point. I know people that did large drops and always worry about rubbing and bottoming out. They also worry a lot about carrying a load of people or heavy cargo. One of the reasons I purchased the xB is the usefullness of the big large interior space.

Good luck!

I have the DFs on my xB and i love them.

The ride is a little more agressive than factory but i didnt like how it rode from the factory so its better for me.

From the factory the car felt like it wanted to "walk" all over the road but now its stuck where i want it to be

I too have Df's and love them... Ride is not that bad and the drop isnt so low that you will scrape on every drive way...

Cool, thanks for all the replies. But I think I'm going to go with the Ksport coil overs. I just like the idea of being able to adjust the height to whatever I want, plus, better handling. Buuut they will hit my wallet pretty hard :money:

The DF's are WAY to soft for my taste and I will probably be switching them out to either a stiffer spring or Ksports.

Yeah I was thinking about ksports also.
