About a month ago we installed the steering wheel, shift **** that we received from Shutt Auto. So today I decided to take a few pics of our interior to update everyone....

no.... airbag light I'm sure a simple resistor would fix it but it doesn't really bother us that much.

 

The only thing I would be worried about is the SRS system not working. Im not sure if your car is a daily driver or not but something you might want to check out. And if for some reason the light doesnt effect the rest of the system then Im starting for look for new front seats

I believe its his wifes Xb and they show and mod it together. I wish my wife would be that involved...

correct, it's the wifey's daily driver and grocery getter.... I had to get her a toy to get into this whole thing which allows me to purchase my parts for my other cars. All mods are discussed and considered by both of us. ultimately it's her car but we both work on it together, its actually become a fun bonding experience.

 

so how hard was it to sink the subs and amps into the spare tire area...

 

in your third picture i thought you had a giant green bug on your passenger seat but then i notice if was your set of keys.

Well I didn't do the work, it was Sightwaves but it's really easy. Once you take apart the flooring, spare tire, and plastic inserts you'll just get some wood and make a frame, everything else kinda just falls in sync.

Our shop wanted to do crazier stuff w/ the sunked in install but we like being able to put the trunk floor mat over the entire system and open our trunk discreetly. Next we plan on integrating some tv panels and speakers into the back of the rear seats, also flush mounted. Should be a fun project....

 

That looks really good. I like the new additions.

 

hey nolimitz what quick release do u have for ur car...i saw the ones on the site and kinda like them but which one would u prefer and with what steering wheel...

 

I am using the NRG Gen 2.0 Quick Release, short hub and then the 2 button style race wheel.

 

what is the size for the stock steering wheel? what MM? will there be any air bag problems?
