I'm trying to remove the shade for the sunroof. I have the manual that says how to remove it but it's telling me I have to remove the glass. I just can't see that the people who painted there shades removed the glass. Any idea on how to do without removing the glass?

I need this out before tomorrow morning cuz I bring my stuff to paint. This is the last thing I'm removing. Oh I also have the curtain airbags which seem like they could be in the way.

ahh i forgot his sl name but his name is david and he has an RS2 in RI i think its ddplion or somethin like that. go to the Balise Toyota thread in the Boston Metro forum hes in that thread but he can help you he took everything out of the car

 

when i refabbed my headliner, i was looking at it and took some screws out that was holding it.. it would come down.. so i just left it

 

I pulled the glass off and everything it said but I still could get it out. I put everything back and I think I have an idea on how to get it black without removing. I wouldn't normally do this but it will be better then keeping it that tan/gray color when everything is black.
