ok so im about to headers but i have been reading alot about the o2 sensors on our cars being cross threaded.... is there anyway of not damaging it if it is.... and are they all cross threaded?

not every car has cross threaded sensors. the only was to really tell is to do the install and hope it comes out alright.

nothing is going to happen, just put wd-40 or whatever brand makes you feel good, soak it then remove. i've done it 6 times to be exact.

I would say most (if not all) "cross threaded" O2 sensors are not cross threaded. They were taken out of a hot manifold or were taken out without using a penetrating oil and some patience. When you take out an O2 sensor, you should use a good penetrating oil and work the sensor back and forth easily until it is completely threaded out of the manifold.
