so you may have seen my posts about me doing a full exhaust and here is my conclusion..... keep in mind i already have the tanabe axleback...

Tsudo 4-2-1 header (comes with s pipe fit)

Tsudo Midpipe with magnaflow high flow cat.... and viberant 18" resonator. (should all fit on the pipe... Right?)

then my axle back

to me it sounds like the cheapest but best way to go..... with the HF Cat and Res. i should be cutting out most of the rasp... right?

lemme know what ya all think..... am i missing something?

 

you will still have some rasp with any header combo.

 

but most rasp.... right?

 

it also depends on the axle back itself. everything comes into play.

ive heard this one guy on hear who had a setup like that with the tanabe concept g. he had like a tupac avitar i think?

DC sports header, custom 2.5" S-Pipe and Mid-pipe with 33" Magnaflow resonator, tanabe concept axel back

no rasp :-)

Almost all the people that claim they have no rasp, still always do. When I see their cars at shows, I always cringe when they drive away and/or rev their engines.

Take it from me and personal experience. No matter what header, resonator, exhaust combo you have, you will still have some rasp with a header; there's no getting around it.

Sure, you don't hear it from inside the car, well because you're driving it. From outside the car however, it's a different story.

07-09 + headers = rasp. It's inevitable. 05-06 has the chance of cleaning it up. A rare, slim chance of cleaning it up.
