Default ::More photos Pg1:: Custom Oil Pan for the tC

I felt this deserves it's own thread... A little bit of a tease... Introducing the custom oil pan we had fabricated for the Scion tC.
Sorry for the crappy Cell phone Pictures. I am not at the shop today and I was sent these on my phone.

Enjoy...

Cool.. but it looks like the welds around the oil drain will prevent the oil from flowing out nicely.. there should be more of a slope going down the drain hole right?

Can you get a better pic of the drain hole?

I'm not at the shop today, but when I get back I will take a few better photos. I'm sure there will need to be a few finishing touches done to the pan before we install everything. I wouldn't put my approval on it without seeing it in person just yet. I just figured you all would enjoy seeing the progress we are making on our little project.

sweet setup up.. im doing the same with the taking out the battery..

nice baffle plate also ... just make sure that drain plug is flush on the bottom to drain all the oil out... other then that looks good.

looks like it would hold an additional 1QT of oil if not more lmao ...

Intercooler Just got finished as well.

only things left to finish fabricating are the Intake manifold and the Down pipe. Afterwards we will start to piece everything together!

yes, it will hold about a quart-1.5 more oil. It also comes with a longer oil pickup to accommodate the larger pan.
We assembled the motor Saturday and attached the pan. we just need to finish the poly mounts and we will drop it in. I will get a few more pictures
