Default helpp! c-pillar bar question! :)

Ok well i have the Megan Racing c-pillar bar but i have a little issue. It is not installed yet but i would like some input for the people who have the c-pillar bar in there tC - how they got it in without leaving the actual c-pilars out of the car. I dont just want to leave the c-pillars out and have it look yucky lol . Is there a way without screwing up the c-pillars to either drill or cut into it ?? If so can you please let me know how to exactly do it. I re-did my upholstry and i just dont want to mess that up either thats on my c-pillars. I would like to install it this weekend and im just really struggling how the hell to put back my c-pillars after i put it in. Thanks a bunch.

you will need to cut a hole into them, or mount it up where your hanger hooks are

You're right, it won't function as well where the hanger hooks are, so mount it in the proper location!

There have been people that posted pics of theirs installed here, so I know someone can find them on this site, sorry I don't have time to search for you at the moment.

I just installed mine today. It's not the cleanest looking, but I just cut a little notch out of the panel big enough for the bar to fit and then popped the panels on around it. Not sure if that helps...

Hahahaha...that would suck. You get in an accident and a metal bar goes flying through your car.

It also has a subsequent post describing how he cut the holes for the bar.
