okay so i just got that installed in my tc. i haven't been able to test its range but otherwise i am satisfied with it. i will be going to the dealer this thursday to have the ignition lock enabled.

for those of you who have it what else would you suggest?? what features do you often use?

 

I have it, I'm satisfied, except range is not a good as i expected. Ex: I park in the mall parking lot and it has a hard time transmitting through the walls of the mall.

Oh, and what does enabling the ignition lock do??

 

they claim it to have a range of about 6000 ft (1.25 mile) which is the main reason i bought it. i also noticed that i wasn't able to use the remote when i was inside the mall..:-/ at first i thought somebody had already disabled the alarm hehe :-) i normally press button 4 to check the status of the car..and that time it wasn't doing anything except showing the 'range' antenna thing. i certainly was disappointed to learn that it wasn't working when i was inside the mall..ahhh well atleast thats the best available in the market :-)

ignion lock allows the vehicle to automatically lock the doors upon pressing the brake after the vehicle has been started with the key and will unlock the doors upon pulling the key out from the ignition.

i am sure you are also familiar with the following features:
passive arming, turbo mode,rps, cold start mode, optional aux 1 and 2

for what did you use the aux 1 and 2??

 

I have that alarm on my S2000 and it's the best thing...

I paid $600 installed - Remote Start on a Manual Car and
the options on the alarm are well worth the cost.....
