These are final production Carbon Fiber Canards for the tC. I have installed dual canards on mine to give it an aggressive look while adding "real" downforce at high speed.

These are 100% CF and very very durable. Just wanted to share it with you all...

I will have more pix later...

they look like more decoration than function.

I think the canards are actually functional, but why bother?

what are these things supposed to DO?

BlueBox

what are these things supposed to DO?

CF canards are mainly used on GT racing vehicles to increase downforce of the vehicle at higher rate of speed. This allows better handling at higher speed.

U can read more about it on APR website...

That he does That he does  , Imo I do not like the looks of those at all maybe if added to a body kit it would look better, And hell if they work then go for it.. Not something I would do to my car.

man bluebox, i fell in love with yer car as soon as you had those finish rims and the drop lol, and am falling more in love with it, those things would look hot with the cf hood, and a cf lip. the spoiler is really nice great work

a nice lip kit bodykit is on the way as well. And yes, I have few connections...but does that make me a bad guy? I'm just persistent and aggressively search for proper vendors that is willing to listen to me and help me out here and there.

The canards will be available in silver as well (which I will be getting soon) to complement my white paint better.

The canards are cosmetic add-ons ...but functional as well. They look better in person...as with many other things.

I'm just sharing new products for the tC ... and there's alot more to come. You will be surprised by early next year what I have in store. Through networking... next couple of products will be very nice and something that tC owners will want. I can't disclose the details right now...but you will know soon.

Your remarks (negative or positive) are welcome...cuz I'm critical as well when it comes to products for cars. Keep em coming...

It looks like a sticker in the pictures, I imagine it's a basically a peice of CF that petrudes that adds downforce?

To each their own, but you're not able to comment on any big metal wings as this is no better :)

Looks like you just curbed your car.

And the downforce added wouldn't even be significant enough to make a difference to anyone who drives the tC in urban areas.

I live in LA area with fast freeways...hehe. u'd be surprised how fast ppl drive down here...especially during non rush hours. I've seen porsches and corvettes blow (at least doing 110mph) by with no hesitations for miles after miles...that's how much room we have to drive down here..and even more room down in OC area.

I guess the pix doesn't do justice...but oh wells. I think the silver ones i'm getting will look better on my white tC...and of course with a new bodykit i'm getting in about 2 months.

No duh. :loser:

I'll bet some higher-rez pictures will give a better impression off what they really look like. I'm thinkin they look pretty cool. (I'm not being facetious like when I suggested someone look into an aluminum wing, I really think they look pretty cool!) Flame me if you must.

According to Phillip, they got paid for it and got a free item, phillip picked the pedestal spoiler. Heres the video(By the way you will need quicktime to view it.):, 56K don't even bother.

As long as that's not the only body mod you have planned, I think it looks good.

I'd definately pair a front lip or at least a splitter with them as well.
