1. yeah, the car has rattles,
2. you need new brake pads and/or new brake fluid, usually brake pads.
3. is your tc an 07? i keep hearing that this is a common problem with them, and there is a fix for it at the dealership.

e-brake light coming on when you accel means you need new brake pads. i just went through this and while you do the brake pads fill up the brake fluid. that problem is solved. i dont know about the rattle though, im at 27500 miles and havent heard a rattle yet.
yeah brake light comes on when you pull the ebrake and when you're low on fluid.. if ur brake light is on n u dont have the ebrake pulled.. you need new pads or u have a leak somewhere.. highly doubt it tho.. check ur pads n then go from there. the reason it turns on when you acc. is cuz the fluid shifts to where it's not being read by the sensor n it sets it off.
well the HVAC part for an '07 tC was an actual recall, so it wouldn't be part of your warranty anyway and should be free no matter what. (the hazards not working thing)
rattles are all over in this car, if you wanted a quiet car, whoops. either turn up the music (which sometimes makes them worse overtime) or try and fix them yourself if you're out of warranty, anything from velcro to foam to tape to hot glue, to iunno anything that blocks whatever parts from rubbing/knocking will stop the rattle, i've been all over my car fixing these things.

1. Tap the headliner near the hatch, if it that's the rattle, then remove the headliner and insert some foam where the rattle occurs.
2. Check your brake pads. Your brake fluid is probably low, causing the light to trigger. As long as there are no leaks in the system, you should never add brake fluid unless you do a system flush. People who say to add brake fluid don't understand how hydraulics work.
3. Take it to the dealer, the HVAC had a recall for 07, which is for the lights going out.

I have never had a rattle in my 05... some did, some didnt.
To clear the confusion, it is not an ebrake light, it is a brake light. An issue with the brakes, low fluid or the ebrake being pulled will trigger it. If your fluid is low, you either have a leak (which needs to be fixed) or your pads are worn pretty far. So if there is no leak, then replace the pads, dont fill the resevoir. If you fill it, you will either have to suck some fluid back out before you do change the pads or you will end up with a mess of brake fluid on your floor when you compress the caliper pistons to do the job.
07's had an issue with the HVAC for a while.

Calling it an "ebrake" light is what makes everyone think it only has something to do with the ebrake, including those people who think "oh, my ebrake sensor is just bad, no biggie" when in fact it is a loss in brake pressure or fluid leading to a worse, and more dangerous issue.
Calling it an "ebrake light" is a lot like calling your CEL an "Evap System Fault light" ;)

that gave me a good laugh
point is.. it lights up when the ebrake is on.. or there's a problem... i was just sayin that if ur ebrake isn't on then there's a problem... but i'll agree.. it's a "brake" light.
Man, oh man....I wish I could say what I'm thinking w/o retribution.
If you have an indicator light, and you don't know what is causing it, have it checked out. No need to be guessing!
