whats your favorite gear to pull in your boosted tC's

for me, 4th is where these cars pull the hardest in boost.

 

4th gear is a direct drive gear, 1:1 ratio

best power

 

4th FTW

 

4th all day everyday

 

especially with our 601's! they love 4th..

are we the only 2 running this turbo on scion life?

But I personally love 2nd gear. I never drive on the freeway, so I cant really say I do many 4th gear pulls

waiting to come home from school to get a professional dyno tune.....but on the rich map im on 3rd gear seems to pull hard

 

3rd gear pulls hard but not like 4th, its rediculous the top end our cars turbod have. 4th gear is where we see the train lengths on 350zs lol and they say there good top end.

 

4th, i feel more lift! but i love 3rd too

when i was supercharged...i must say that i enjoyed 3rd more than any other gear...pulled so hard

 

Yeah I like 3rd. or Reverse.

1st

 

sometimes my car hooks in 2nd... very few times... thats the hardest pull... but lasts for a sec or two.

Third is the best for pulling!!! hands down. especially at 50Mph... its around 3200rpm... my peak tq is at 3500 and peak hp at 5800 so I love when 335i and evos come next to me-- I slow down to 50 and then smile... and then I DIP!!!

 

4th is a beast =)

 

1st gear when you are n/a lol but when boosted 1st gear is a big fat LOL

 

since i only drive to and from work on normal roads, 2nd is the only one i can shift into and drop the hammer since it redlines at just over 50 mph, can't really hammer 3rd 4th or 5th...
