Default Does anyone actually like TRD S/C?

I am looking at getting the s/c for an 07 Auto. I know that a turbo kit will give me way more power and is the "better" route to go but I only have 26000 miles on the car and want my warranty. I also dont want to fail emissions tests in the future. I live about 10 minutes from Dezod in Buffalo so we have talked quite a bit about my options. I am just curious if anyone that owns the s/c is actually happy with it because I have heard so many complaints. S/C owners....Pls respond!! thank you

it's very reliable...plus hopefully ur tech doesn't ____ed up lol
otherwise everything else should be good! it also depend on how u treat it. i mean if you want raw power then i wouldn't suggest it, but if u want enough power then ur good w/ S/C because u can upg pulley.

its a nice increase in power, though you will have to get a few other things to really get in going. nothing like a turbo though.

I have one on my 06 RS 2.0 and love it...... I changed out the pulley and put the 9.5 on it and a cold air intake and love the power increase on it....... Mine is covered under warranty if I put the stock pulley back on witch is not hard and the stock box back in, and the emissions just put the stock box in...... I think it is a great bang for its buck.......

yeah i went with the s/c since i live in california. for an automatic tC you will get a good power increase but i recommend that you upgrade the s/c with pullies, new bpv, intake.

you can always cut the intake to make it work but of course you will need to get a tune cause you will be running lean. there is also a mmw s/c intake.

it will you have to cut the pipe down some but it was worth it because not many people have it.

You can see it in this pic of my car but its not a great pic.

you are going to cut off the part of the intake that connects to the throttle body and attach the rest of it to the s/c intake hose.
