Some REAL carbon fiber engine bay accents?

I have a guy that will make them for us if there is enough interest in the parts.

So far in the engine bay the only thing that you can buy for the xB2 is the engine cover. Most people dont want to spend the coin to get that engine cover so im going to get a few other parts made.. Let me know if you are interested then i will find out a price on them.

-Panel from grille to radiator support

-fuse box cover overlay

The fuse cover is one of the main pieces that we would be working on.

Which dash pieces would you like to see made?

Im already going to make an overlay for the shifter panel on my 5-speed.

Maybe a stereo suppound/vent piece thats in the middle of the dash? Remember these would be overlays, not the new piece made in carbon. That would cost a lot and take a lot of time to make... time=money

dash pieces...piece tha has the HVAC controls, radio housing and maybe the piece that houses with the shifter...

I'd be interested in the radio surround in carbon fiber or maybe the whole addon kit scion has in silver that goes on the doors and radio but in carbon. Possibly the vent rings? Also the shifter plate that surrunds the shifter in the auto tranny. I'd also like to see the piece that surrounds the gauges in carbon. Also the radiator cover and fuse panel would be cool to see as well.

yea...how bout the piece above the liecense plate on the hatch...i noticed seibon or ait doesn't make that piece. one reason i haven't thought of buying one...

as soon as i get my hands on a used front bumper the overlay will be in progress.

Keep in mind guys, this is REAL CARBON FIBER its not cheap stuff.

If someone has a CF hatch and wants to make a few bucks, i need the factory license plate thing so i can have my guy make a mold off of it.

Ya real carbon can get costly. It would probably be a good idea to get a price list even if it is just a estimated one going before you and the guy your working with invest to much time or $$. Everyone is probably interested but at what cost will they still be interested in these pieces?

i have to get a basic head count on who is interested in order to find out cost..

example, if we make 3 of one piece for $150 each, we can make 10 of them for $130 each.. If more people will buy the part, the cost of tooling is spread out much further and each piece becomes cheaper.

are you going have it in different colors besides black

parts that have hard curves are nearly impossible to do in colored CF.

The colors that are available are red, blue, silver, and regular black CF

the vent rings would be impossible in colored CF as well as probably the radio bezel.

We are thinking about doing mirror covers as well...

If you need an extra bumper for the front bumper overlay let me know for sure and I can let you use mine. I dont use the stock one anymore.

These parts take a while to tool and make. Not to mention, i personally have to come up with the upfront cost of the stock parts for him to use as a cast. As most of you know, factory parts arent cheap.

The bumper overlay and rad cover are goign to be complete first.
