top speed under 110mph for s/c?!?
so i was driving on the freeway last night and i decided to just check out my top speed. o yea there was no one on the freeway. i was in 5th gear and just stepped on the gas. passed 100mph, kept going.....once the speedometer hit 110, it felt like i hit the speed limiter, my rpm was about 5,500. im on stock wheels, supercharger is stock, stock pulley, bosch 110 bpv, stock intake, and DME header. i have never heard of this issue before. the dealer did the reflash. the car has hit 125 mph before the s/c. could it be injector related? or could it be the reflash?

Something is off on your set up buddy cause I have the same set up now (Stock except for DME) and I have been as fast as 120 on a pass.
at 5500 RPM you should be going faster than 110 btw....

110 is about max in 4th gear by the way and 110 in 5th I believe is lower then 5500 RPM. My guess would be you forgot you were in 4th.

ive accidentally hit 110 trying to pass a car that wouldnt let me so 110 isnt that big of deal

i was not bouncing off the rpm limiter. i was at about 5,500 rpm. the speedometer would touch 110 and the cut off would engage, and of course i am in 5th gear. all the other gears would hit 6,000 rpm with out a problem. my question was, could it be injetor related? or could it be related to the reflash? how would the injectors react when they are at their limit?
