I recently found a post in the tc section about gude making a head kit for the 2az-fe and decided to contact them for more info on what they are offering for us scion owners. I got a parts list plus pricing and thought I'd share.

Ya I'm sure the dezod one is nice but at 1450 with springs and cams the gude deal is hard to beat. Now to find 1450 laying around lol.

somewhat older post but ohwell.

kinda likin the overbore throttle. isn't our stock something around 25 point something mm in size??

and i'm REALLY liking the cams and springs set for it aswell. keeps nearly the same low end power range and extends to near 8k rpm, that's freakin nice.

all of that WITH an F/I setup would be insane if we had some freakin stronger head bolts...

which reminds me, i haven't been up to date with all the new upgrades for the 1NZFE over the bottom end build kits that are out there. do we have ARP head bolts or anything yet to keep our head on the block yet?
