wow, that would be a big waste of money lol. I would say no, the scion tc looks so much better, handles better, more power and has an awesome sunroof.

unless your talking about the SI.. still for an 08, I say keep it.

I'd sit on the car for awhile because you just lost ALOT of money.

Pay on the car till your owed amount is closer to your value, then you can just call it a wash (unlikely, you'll have to pay a couple grand) and then start over with an is250.

You should've thought harder about your purchase before making it, lol.

LOL she got bored of it, so means your parents bought it for her? I like the civic, and always have so if you want to...go for it. However, you would be losing money...not sure if that bothers you...

Well no one can really say how much you are going to lose on the car you can try KBB or NADA and see what they say what the trade in value is. As far as whether or not you should do it depends on a lot of things. Such as, are you paying for it? Can you afford the insurance on an Civic? etc. For me I would keep the tC. The Civic is a nice car, but it is slower than the tC when you price it the same as the tC (new car value). The Civic Si is a very nice car, I really do like the 2-door (I sort of wish I got one), but it does cost more and it is higher to insure. I personally didn't care for the Civic's interior but that was me. Yes my tC has some short comings, but most of these can be fixed by modding the car which is easy (and fun). In short, you will more times than not lose money on cars, they are a bad investment of money from a finance view. You have to remember that the dealer is there to make money off of you he is not going to trade straight up. If you do get a new car get it in Manual you will like that much more.

Is there a specific reason you want to trade it? I would say keep it a few years. Better cars are coming out every year so if you wait there may be something better you would have wished you held out for. Thats just my 2 Cents.

You wont really know until you go into a car dealership. They will usually try to give you near the KBB value if they really want to sell you a car.
