Scions hold there value very well. Have you tried selling it back to the dealer? I've seen people do that.

i dont understand why they are doing this to you....I have had 6 payment differals on my loan, from TFS, i asked them how many the max was and what stipulations there were, they said you can have 6 extensions and they would just tack on each on to the end of the finance term, unlike most companies which only allow you 1-2 differals and make you pay them with the last payment in a baloon...i would SERIOUSLY call TFS tomorrow and ask for a supervisor or a dept manager, this doesnt sound right to me at all

Don't leave us just because you don't have your box anymore......it sucks that they don't seem to want to work with you....most finance companies will make some sort of deal so they don't have to spend the $$ to repo it......but hopefully they will work out a last min deal with you so you can keep it.....I hate to see you leave us you are really awesome to talk to

Wow sorry to hear such bad news. I haven't had the chance to meet you but still never like hearing this kind of news about anyone. These are hard times for everyone I think. Don't give up to easy hang in there and maybe you can work something out with TFS. During these financial bad times they may decide to work something out with you. Good Luck

Unfortunately,, with the "tight credit" situation in the US economy. there are a lot of ppl who may be in the same shape as you in the very near future..

I have heard rumors that several large companies have been using short term credit lines to make their "mid-month" or "end of month" payrolls.. and now those credit lines have dried up.. sad thing indeed..

Sad to hear the news, Mike.

More than one of us have been in similar straights and managed over time to come out of it OK. Hang in there.

I understand your not wanting to show up a events after losing the car - it just sounds like too much to take. Give it a little bit of time, and come back for the people.

Seriously. We stick together because we are friends, even if the cars go away.

We don't want you to just vanish, Mike, so please don't.

Take care,
Tom
