i was just wandering if the cops out there stop you for no fornt license plate alot? im asking becouse next week me and my friends are going to Wiconsin Dells and i want to know if i should put it on or i will get away with it...

 

It seems hit or miss.
Just don't drive like an a-hole and you should be fine.

 

You really only have to worry about the state patrol, most local boys will leave you alone.
If you do get a ticket and not a warning, the fine is over $200.

My wife and I are thinking about taking one last road trip to Wisconsin Dells ourselves...

 

I've had no front plate for over a year and went past many cops/troopers, never got pulled over for it. So yeah as stated above just keep it cool with the driving and you shouldn't really have any problem.

 

The important thing to ask is: Will a WI trooper pull over an IL car for a license plate violation?? I'm quite sure they won't.

 

well from what i heard and seen on last vacation cops from WI were only looking at IL plates and give out tickets for anything... like my friend got a ticket for the sticker on the windshield cuz it was 3mm to wide...

funny that this topic came up, i live in franklin, just a min south of milwaukee, im the only rs1 there and the cops are real ******,
before anyone says it, i know. they risk there lives for me everyday and all that and im really gratefull but im targeted everynight i go out

ive been pulled over 9 times in the last 2 months and everytime they just run my drivers liscenes and take up 45 min of my time, but this last time on saturday the dbag that pulled me over gave me a citation for no front plate and illegal tint....totall bull!!!!

 

fortunately for me my trip to Wis Dells went without any cops troubles i hardly even seen any of them out there.... and yeah they one you cuz like you said u are the only one rs tc out there so u stick out and thats why the are pulling you over

 

They are just doing their jobs. if you had a front plate and 50% tint on your door windows they would not stop you.
I not saying that to start something, just putting it out there.
