Default How can I boost iPod/AUX in volume?

It always seems like i have to turn up my stereo another 20 notches in order to match the volume of the CD or FM radio. Any mods for the premium head unit that can take care of this?

If you're using iTunes, you need to right click on each song, click on "get info" and click on "options" and slide the volume adjuster to the right to the +100%, this needs to be done with every song. Hope this helps.

When i'm listening to the music through headphones (or anywhere else) the volume is just fine. It's only quiet in the car.

Thats an idea, I'll give that a shot today. I believe all sound check does is applies the sound level changes in iTunes though.

I had the same problem and then I realized that I had the max volume set at about 66%. Its the feature thats supposed to keep you from getting used to the volume and turning it up all the way causing deafness.

I guess I must have set it way back when I first got it. I could have kicked myself because between that and sound check mine now works fine and there is no volume difference.
