Well I'm back in PA for a week, so I installed some VRD foglights today in my dad's bsp tC.

Install was relatively easy. Took maybe 2 hours tops.

Also took some pics of the Oznium full TBL as well.

just wondering if you guys took off your front bumpers to install the fogs?

The majority of my time was devoted to the TRD filter for the CAI. It was in the way of the ground bolt. I also took some breaks here and there mainly because I'm a wuss when it comes to the temperature here and cold garage floor.

And no, I didn't take off the bumper, I took the panels off from underneath.

 

I took my bumper off when i did mine...

there's no point in taking off the bumper if you can just get the panels off. taking off the bumper is excess work IMO. that way you can get your hands in there to pop out the fake vents, run the wire down, etc. no need to take off the bumper at all.

 

The fog lights on your car look great! I've been thinking about getting the vrd set for a while but never acted upon it. Perhaps when Christmas rolls around i'll pick up a set.

Eh, her car, her dad's car, either way, i'm complimenting it, shouldnt really matter whos it is right? Either way, must've slipped my mind while i was typing my previous post.

 

ya i took the bumper off mine for two reasons, 1. it was my first time taking it off and wanted to see how easy it was (VERY!) and 2. didnt know how easy the wiring was (EVEN MORE EASY!!!)

Where did u actually buy the VRD fog kit with the yellow bulbs... I have checked Ebay and 2 kits come up that say VRD but the bulbs are white(prefer yellow). I think other on ebay are BSing the VRD but yea or anyone else had good experience with the ebay version...
