well i order it from Race Inspired.com they products is very good nice and safe packageing I do had to drill a hold for windshield washer nozzles hose overall is about 7out of 10 how difficult to install it

I see it doesn't have holes for the windshield washers. What do you do in that case? Cut holes in the hood? Just wondering :ponder: I'm really considering getting that hood, but just worried about not being able to wash my windshield.

Yes you're going to have to drill the holes yourself for the nozzles.

well for a windshield washers they do have a hold drill already but you have to drill a holes for a hose to hide under the hood and i think it require because a hose have to be in the hood

I totally agree. I am going to try to get a CF spoiler to tie the front and the back in together. Right now no one is selling the CF spoiler by itself, and I really don't think I want to go with the CF hatch. I may end up with just the BSP spoiler for the time being.

It looks cheap in person. Like the quality isn't there.

B1GP1IMP1N: I'd love to see a wider shot with and without the front emblem on there.

I would love to get the Seibon hood but I don't know if I'd love it with my SSM :? Maybe I should wait for a silver cf hood to come about :)

The hood was $448, $35 for shipping and $15 for insurance.

I guess this is not long compared to how long I waited for my Kaminari Hood. That took 8 weeks since the shipping company lost the first one!

I do want to comment on the Seibon CF Hood.... Since adding my hood I have noticed during large amounts of rain I am getting a much larger amount of water into my Engine Bay. This would not be an issue if it was not for my Fujita CAI filter. It seems that when the car is sitting in a heavy rain or if I am washing it, I am getting enough water to flow into the area that my CAI filter sits which has cause a moisture issue. I have had problems with the filter getting wet enough to keep the engine from running properly at start. I am looking into solutions for this problem.

There is no Legal anything behind CF hoods/Doors/Trunks/Fenders etc... Its an added safety that I personally dont think is necessary on the xD.

VIS, and Seibon, are pretty reputable companies. I am running the Seibon OEM style hood and the fitment is perfect on it.

Does any one know how the VIS CF hood fitment is in campareson to the Seibon OEM, from what I have read so far the Seibon is practically a bolt on with minor modifications.:confused:

i sent you a message about the hatch but as for the fenders theyre Carbon Creations too i believe. i bought both pieces (fenders and hatch) used. i was told they were from the sema xD. the fenders were never put on tho. i hope they were the prototype because they didnt fit at all and ended up being a 8 hour project to make them work. if they were the final product i would avoid the headache of buying them.

Thanks for the heads up I was looking at this stuff listed below to start my project however the shop I found close to me in Chesapeake, VA won't even take the time to send me an e-mail with their address so I can order the stuff and send it to their establishment.:icon_frown: I rarely talk on the phone and the best communication for me is by e-mail since I have trouble hearing.
