Default my poor car!!

well today, well this morning, a semi lost its spare tire a few cars in front of me, the charger i was following clipped it, and sent it flailing for my car, half a second later i bounced half a foot in the air and i see debris and foglight glass in my rear view mirror. it dint do any mechanical damage thank god, but it bent my rad. support a lil bit. heres pics.

dude I'm sorry! I know how bad that stuff can be... I suffered VERY similar (but more severe) damages because some idiot in a truck ran me off the road. He got in my lane when trying to pass someone so either I hit him head on or run off the side of the road and hit a sign and some small trees.

Sorry bro! insurance covering it?

if someone comes into my lane and its hit them or the ditch, I think I'll just floor it and see what happens, cause I sure as hell can't afford the ticket for running off the road and the collision repair from my insurance

similar thing happened to me once. a tread separated from a semi in front of me, i tried to dodge it, but i was driving my 95 ford explorer, so i nearly tipped over, but i clipped it with my right side tires, it went flying up in the air, and my heart stopped as i starred in my rear view mirrors wondering if there were any cars behind me that it was now heading towards, and miraculously, they were all clear and i watched it roll off the road.

Glad everyone is ok and can laugh about it later. I don't want to turn this into a war story list but gotta tell my story. I'm on the freeway doing 65 like everyone else. There's a large flatbed way up ahead of me with no cars between us on any of the lanes. The truck his a bump in the road and loses a huge wooden wheel block. I see this thing bouncing around and think it'll stop in one of the lanes but noooo. The block is odd shaped and bounces from the left lane to the right lane, all over the place sometimes as high as my windshield. The thing doesn't even seem to slow down! I try to select a lane that gives me some room to manuver and slow as much as I can without losing my ability to get out of the way. Stopping is NOT AN OPTION. It moves to the left of me and I go right. Then..POW!! The block slams into a Nissan right at the grill. Guy was lucky though, could have entered the cab. Be careful around them trucks!
