Hey guys my little parking light bulb beneath the headlight bulb blew out. Its the one that looks almost like a christmas tree light, except smaller. Anyways I just bought replacements for it, Sylvania 168. I was wondering how the heck do you get to it and replace it. I disconnected the connector that goes into the headlight, and I can someone feel underneath it. The problem im having is trying to figure out how to disconnect it, plus the windshield washer reservoir is in my damn way as well. Has anyone replaced this. Could use a little help, im having a noobish moment. Thank you guys.

free up a little more room and remove the low beam bulb. once you do that you get some more room for your hand.

I just know absolutely nothing about changing bulbs. Ive never had to do it in either of my 4 vehicles ive owned in my lifetime. LOL. Is the lowbeam bulb the one above it, the big bulb.

The parking lights? For an 08 tc? Im not sure if the 08s are different since its a new headlight, but for the 08s the parking light bulb is the bottom one, size 194 bulb I believe and you strictly just pull it out.

squeeze in, and if it's your first time doing it on the car, twist REALLY hard and it should break loose and then you can just pull it out.

I got it all it took was turning hard to the left. But damn what a pain in the ___. The only way you can do it without issue/problem is if you have little chinese hands cuz my hands had a hard time fitting in there. LOL. Thanks guys for the help

i just installed hids for my scion tc and i notice the same thing, the ugly yellow parking lights is it called? i tried to take it out but it wouldnt budge so i just left it for now. i guess the problem is that i need to twist it harder? i was afraid that it would break. also one more thing. can i just take them out and leave no bulb while i search for replacements without having any trouble?

i just used a cheap pair of needle nose pliers just to clamp on then broke it loose and proceeded to take out with my life issued girly hands

All you need to do is turn them bad boys. Put on some mechanic gloves if you dont want to injure those hands up a little, LOL.
