Default Weird Problem

I have a really stupid problem. I've gone to gas stations in three different cities here in New Mexico and I have a problem pumping gas, it'll put in about .1 gal of gas and then it'll automatically stop. I've had different people try to pump gas and it does the same thing. What could possibly be the problem?

This has been posted a few different places before. Don't put the gas nozzle in as far. Seems the scions are a little sensitive.

Can anyone confirm this? I've had this happen twice a couple weeks ago and yesterday it was fine when I filled up...

I'm assuming you have a tC since thats the forum this is in. I don't know if there is a service bulletin for the tC but there is one for the xB for the same type of problem.

I've had several vehicles do that. Jeeps, Fords, and a Toyota. Its just a problem with the automatic shutoff. Gets too much air in the line, or ot enough. Anyways, its common. Just pull the nozzle out a bit and try it. It takes a couple times sometimes. Its all about the angle from my experience.
