I love this little car in the snow. It's not bad when you don't want it to be, but a little yank on the e-brake can result in some pretty sweet snow-drift action (in an abandoned parking lot...not on public streets). Anyway, I wish I could get some video, but I drifted RIGHT into a parking spot (even the one I was aiming for) in this parking lot at my gf's sister's school (no other cars around). It's quite a fun little car...everyday I'm more and more glad I picked it up :)

my xa is absolutly horrible in the snow. im assuming that its the tires. (rs 1.0) its so bad that i went out today and bought a winter car. i wanted one anyways so i can keep the miles down on my xa and install the bodykit i have for it.

Well, mine WAS horrid until I switched back to the stock steelies for winter. Now it's AOK. Maybe you could have just bought a set of stock xA rims for the winter, rather than a whole new car? But if you wanted to keep the miles down, etc..then it was probably a good decision.

that was my original plans (stock rims and snow tires) however i came across a deal that i could not pass up. i got a 95 neon for 150 bucks! it needs a trans, wich i know someone who has one and will sell it to me for cheap. othe than that the car runs great and is not in too bad of shape. i can always fix the body and paint it because that is what i do for a living. i just couldnt pass this up

I'm just going to put 'em on ebay in a day or so. A winter car eh? LOL...that's an option I guess. That wouldn't work for me for two reasons. First of all, the best part of having a garage is not having to scrape ice or snow off the car in the morning. If I stored my summer car in there, my winter driver would have to sit out all winter (the wife sure isn't going to give up her side of the garage). Secondly, I live in the northeast. That means my "winter car" would be driven at least 4 months out of the year. I wouldn't want to go from my nice, new car to an old beater for 1/3 of each year. I want to drive an enjoy my xA.
