Zefoxe 10-16-2008, 11:58 PM anyone wanna trade one of these for my DAMD kit? :)
Karma 10-17-2008, 12:13 AM for those interested in the kit... please let me know
tmrepp 10-17-2008, 05:55 AM ....all you have to do is get it painted?? And obviously mount it, how is that done? Does it have to be molded on, or does it bolt right up like the factory ground effects?
TrebleStauter 10-17-2008, 12:25 PM By far my favorite kit for the xD. GReat job!
I have similar inquiries as tmrepp ^^^^
Based on your experience, what can we expect to pay for paint/install?
Is the stock exhaust tip too close to the kit? It looks like it could be blowing right on it.
Karma 10-17-2008, 01:15 PM it is a 4 pcs bolt up kit. I would still have it professionally installed and painted by a bodyshop that is deals with aftermarket body kits.
Paint and install will depend on the bodyshop that you bring it to.
The stock exhaust will be fine on this kit. Our test xD had a stock exhaust.
The CF spoiler, hood and hatch are bolt on as well.
tmrepp 10-18-2008, 07:29 AM So get it painted, and it'll bolt right up? No further work needed??

pretty much. again i would always have a professional bodyshop handle the paint and install of any aero kit.
Karma 10-20-2008, 09:00 PM any interest in a group buy?
In the future will you be able to buy the kit in pieces
Karma 10-21-2008, 09:23 AM you can do that currently
TrebleStauter 10-21-2008, 01:40 PM any interest in a group buy?
So... tempting... dammit.
Is anyone else thinking of a purchase here? The economy is killing me, but I love this look.
Karma 10-21-2008, 11:47 PM let's get a group by going for this kit. who's interested.
ChelsDS 10-22-2008, 12:43 AM Who has the money for this right now, thats a better question.
Karma 10-22-2008, 12:46 AM that is true.. if there are any interested in a group buy for the kit. Let's get one started.
usmc7236Ret 10-28-2008, 03:33 AM I really lit this kit. But I already have a dam body kit.
Found this on ebay for $575

Boxer_Rebellion 11-14-2008, 02:57 PM Great front and rear pieces, terrible side skirts. Someone needs to do a Fab-influenced kit without the melted-plastic droopy skirt look.
B1GP1MP1N 11-14-2008, 03:05 PM A bit too rich for my blood at the present time! Very Nice look though!
