thanks u so much :)Oh man....you have sooooooo many options when it comes to sound systems. The first thing you should figure out is if you want to sacrifice any of the already-small cargo space the xA has. Adding an enclosure with big subs and amps might make the car rock out, but you will have zero storage space. If your not worried about having a system that will blow the windows out, you may want to consider just adding the Bazooka sub tube for more punch. It doesn't take up all your space, plus it's easily removed if need be. Stop by a local custom stereo shop to learn about some options.

could i use any sub? like instead of buying the bazooka sub tube or whatever...is it possible to buy any smaller sub and place it back there n it will give the system more punch? cuz i went to a local shop n they told me if i put a sub in then i need an amp...so i dunno, im gonna have the shop install it all, but i wanna make sure i get all the right pieces, and get a better system in the cheapest way i can.

thanks for responding, i appreciate it

thanks for responding, i appreciate itNo problem. The Bazooka sub tube has it's own amp built-in (I'm pretty sure). Obviously it's not going to give you the same performance as a seperate amp/sub. But, like I said before, the increased performance comes at a cost...room and money. You just need to decide for yourself which way suits you best. Personally, I think the stock system sounds pretty darned good once you adjust the settings a little.

my buddy djctwatt is glass'in his own boxx that will sit in the cavity above the spare tire. and it will sit flush to the cargo lid.(not sure if that made as much sense as in my head but anyways) yeah . lots of options. all about airspace , brand , power you are planning to push , custom enclosures and the nine. sooo many options. once u give a lil bit better description of what u want outta the system people will be able to help. that or move it to ice.

you may want to hit www.the12volt.com and www.sounddomain.com.

They can give advice based on 1.) your budget
2.) what kind of music you listen to
3.)your preference: Sound Quality VS. Loudness
4.) space available

Also check out www.bcae1.com Offers good explanations of how things work, how to wire system, etc.

All of those sites will also offer info on how to install your own system, if you choose to do that.

Good Luck.!

may i suggest .. if you dont want to waste the trunk space... just find a really good mid speaker in moderately priced.... it will give you some punch... cause when u think of it xa dont have a big spae to cram with all those equipment...

next option if u really want some sub... u only need a 10 inch sub and an amp ... that will do.... buy a 2 channel amps... ! and kicker sub... the square shaped ones... its one of the thinnest sub u can cram into the side space of the trunks... so u still pretty much keep that trunk space...
