Yeah it was a debit bank card, only thing is i was dealing with KillaSmit for a month and filed a claim after 3 weeks.. an that took nearly 2 months, i thought paypal would give the money back if i won the claim, which i did. but it didnt

So i just field a claim at the bank like 3-4 weeks ago, but they said i might be screwed cause i waited after there 60 day policy

Paypal wont give me any info besides his name, it says Dennis smith.

Unfortunately all it tells me is the registered name, and his email. I asked, they said they cannot release personal info. So i duno.. i could search his name in the philly area and call everyone

1st off bud i've been in iraq for the past 4 months and apologize on not getting back to you its kinda hard in the sand box. 2nd im going to tell you like i told you a while back, im not giving you money with out having my wheels back, because i sure dont have them. 3rd i've been on this site for a while and have sold plenty of stuff with out a problem. motors, exhaust, ect. check my classifieds. You know the funny thing is, how you can get on the internet a few times a week and not even send a message? There is a lot of questions.

What unit were you in? I have never heard of a 4 month trip? I have 4 friends that have been in and out of Iraq over the past 5 years.

All I want is my money back, Plain and simple, I'll drop it, I wont say anything else about it. Just refund the money and be done with it.

air force do 4 months deployments. if he is in the air force, they definitely have easy access to the internet. every air force base i've been into always gots the hook ups.

man sorry to hear ,,, :doh: :doh: hope all goes well .and a e-mail with some info goes a long way ..i bought some stuff from a guy on here and he held it for a week till i got payed and and in the middle of the week i e-mailed to asure him i will be sending the money soon and to make sure he still had the parts...took me about 2 -3 weeks for the whole deal but when i e-mailed him i got a response..sometimes i even got a response in about a min..if you are doing something or will not be around i think it would be nice to let the person know and if ya send something like wheels i bellive it usally has a tracking # of some sort .

UPDATE: (going to try to make a long story short)

So after a lot of research and the help of anonymous scion life member I found out that Mr. Brian Smith was trying to sell the wheels on another car forum. Still telling me that he didnt have them and didnt have money and only replied to one out of 1 messages with a BS response.

Finally was able to get his Address and phone number, and I called the local cops (local to him) and spoke to a detective.. explained the situation, filed a police report. A detective called me to get the right info and said he was on his way over. He went to his house talked to him and I get this wonderful message maybe 1 hour later, That he magically found the wheels and was going to ship them.

Then after arguing I want my money, He then ships the wheels.

Finally the wheels come yesterday.

After 6 months of BS calling the bank and paypal and what nots.. and more BS
I get the wheels..
