is the game any good?

looks like new version of counter strike if ya ask me ..idont know why everyone is getting all wet for this game ..

I was lucky enough to play the beta of SOCOM for the PS3 earlier in the month. The online aspect
is great as usual. (If you've played previous versions of SOCOM online, you know what I'm talking about.)
The graphics have been updated (obviously) for the next gen system. Buildings and the like look more
detailed and vivid. Also, some of the old maps from previous games are back and have been expanded.

I have to admit, I do sorely miss the single player experience. It was a great distraction from the multiplayer
mayhem. Because of Warhawk's success, single player experiences are being omitted. Kind of cheapens
the game for me. Unfortunately, I cannot give this game a review since I only played the beta version.
All I can say is that if you LOVED playing online versions of previous SOCOM games, you'll definitely
love this new rendition.
