Default need opinions on hankook tires

hey guys... i wanted to know if you guys have or had used a Hankook Ventus V4ES H105 tires?

http://www.hankooktireusa.com/produc...tail.asp?pid=7

I wanted to know how they are?
are they good/better than
Kuhmo Ecsta ASX/AST?

all i care about right now is the thread life and wet condition/rainy condition.
i dont really need a performance tire just now, until i get new rims.

please help on how they are... pros and cons on those Hankook.

also, the size would be 225/45/17
and its being offered to me for 400 installed out the door.

Thanks for the help!

they should be OK for all season tires...400 is an average price. of course though, you probably wont notice much difference if you drive normally...unless youre lookin to get into an accident

The Hankook's will last you forever. I could never get those tires to wear out.

Anytime. Just keep in mind that those tires get very loud once you hit the mid point life. Loud as in really annoying loud. If you have a system, just turn it up.

I used to have Hankook Ventus tires. They were performance tires. One of tire has sidewall defect, but still drivable. But when I switched to Kumho ASX, OMG. Even though it is 18inch 225/40, it drive comfort is so much better than Hankook 17 215/45. I would highly recommend to go for Kumho ones. Performance wise, I do not know. I do not take my car to track or something, do not drive to its limit. As a daily driving car, Kumho ASX tires are the best.
