I would think most or all of the alpines or eclipses would be good bets. Depends on what features you want.

best of luck and merry christmas

If your parents bought you that car they should be slapped. As far as mods go, tell them your car was the only christmas gift you need.

That's a good question. I just checked Scosche's website and cardomain.com and no luck. There's gotta be a kit out there (you tc folk have replaced the factory deck and already sold it on ebay, right? )

If your parents did buy the car for you(or put money down), do what shimmy said. If you say that the car is more than enough, they will likely give you more money or stuff to put on the car. :D

(My parents never bought me a new car, but I would've liked it if they had)

ask for TRD springs, shocks, and the rear sway bar.

probably the most difference/improvement for the money as of yet.

My parents bought my first car....... a $75 Ford Festiva with 125000 miles on it and a foot of kitty litter in the back. It took me three days to get that thing completely clean. I shopped for "mods" from the junk yard finding options off other Festivas that mine didnt have.

Ask for cheaper stuff if anything even if they didnt buy the car for you, its not very cool to ask for a bunch of presents well over $100. However thats just my couple pennies.

I know a lot of parents buy their kids' first car, or at least help them out. This may or may not be the case, but regardless, does it matter? Mabye he is a straight "a" student, class president, and quarterback for his JV football team. For all anyone knows, he found $20k in a storm drain. Who cares? :?

btw- my daughter is getting a 1969 vw type 1 as her first car(in just over 13 years)

ask for a supercharger or turbo kit when they come out . wait, i take that back you prolly don't have much driving experience and will kill the car. ask for cold air intake, race header, and exhaust. that will give you more power with out killing yourself or the car

eeee the dude's mom has an AMG. Most people never even drive car's that fast.
Dude, this is what I don't get. It's not like he's asking.. his parent's are offering. Everyone comes from different financial situations. Seeing how his mom owns a cl65, I could easily see that his mom could buy him whatever he want's for Christmas... is that bad? Everytime I see someone who has their car paid off for them by their parents, there is always someone there to called them spoiled, or reminisce's about how they had it when they were younger.. Sorry if you didn't get a nice car when you were a kid. Oh yah, and it's not like im bragging or anything, I do believe in the morals of hard work, and how much better it is if you earned what you got.

This opinion may be a little bit biased, since my parents bought me my tC on my 17th Birthday, but i'm just trying to express how I feel. People could easily say how i'm spoiled, but it's all subjective. My bro got a C55 AMG for his first car, so I could go on and on how I got stuck with a "scion" (The tC is not a pos, as a matter of fact I love it, but it's not mercedes) but depending on the circumstances , if you didn't get a nice car when you were younger, sorry.

Oh yah, I agree though, tell ur parents you don't want anything. haha :D , that's a lil much. But if your remotely close to me, being 16 and all, chances are you really want to mod your car. I would opt for a TWM short shifter. I think it's the best cheapest mod you could do... as the performance/effect is noticeable right off the bat.

hey sciontc88..

last I checked Cruchfield.com had an install kit for the tC.. some don't like it because it has a storage pocket underneath it.. but for me whenever i do upgrade, i think it's cool for more storage

that's if you do an audio mod.. i know that the rear speakers are going to be the first thing i replace.. they are just cheap paper speakers.. so in time i'll do that.. but hey i'm just happy the car is as fun as it is!
