I am looking for a cheap subwooder setup that sounds goods, but is nothing crazy, and takes up very little space. What I came up with is either a Kenwood KFC-W2509 10" Typhoon Cone Subwoofer or a Alpine SWE-1041 10" Type-E Series Subwoofer. I will end up using a stanard cab truck box those really slim ones cause they don't take up much space. For an amp I was thinking about getting the Lanzar VIBE211 2 Channel MOSFET Amplifier. It has 300watts max output and what I really like is an remote **** that you can adjust the sub level with. I will be using the stock headunit and using a Lanzar VIBE211 2 Channel MOSFET Amplifier. Total price for parts from Etronics is $107 plus about $25 for the box. Has anyone used either sub or the amp, and if so how are they? The Lanzar will not make 300 watts. They USE to be a good company WAYYY back in the day, now they're crap, go to the flea market and buy em.

Try to find a JL 10W0 for a sub on ebay or something, very cheap.

 

Dont touch anything from lanzar. You might want to look at something from elemental designs (edesignaudio.com) 11.kv2 its a 10 inch sub.. puts out 300 watts. Good sound quality, even better price .. free shipping.
