How often should you clean your MAF on the tC?

I do mine every oil change with MAF cleaner.

How often does Scion recommend cleaning it, per the maintenance schedule?

The maf sensor is the one that hooks into the air filter tube right, and how do you go about cleaning it??

You can buy MAF Cleaner at any auto parts store.

Spray liberally on the sensor (with it removed and disconnected of course).. let it dry, then reinstall.

i did'nt know we should clean the MAF every oil change...interesting.

You don't have to do it every oil change.

You can do it every time you change your filter.. which may be every other oil change.

Some people are more anal than others..

Just clean it when it looks dirty - trust me you'll know when it's dirty.
