yes they are shorter and I think the car does ride lower with them....I have TRD springs and struts and my car is lower then cars I have seen with just the springs

I'd assume it would be a little lower in height. Not much though.

yes, the trd struts are shorter then the stock struts, how do i know? the stock struts are too tall for the boxes the trd struts came in. does it ride lower, maybe, not really a big difference.

I agree! My sits much lower. Someone here posted a picture of both OEM & TRD strut together. I remember saying out loud "I don't like that almost inch difference. So I'm forking the extra cash for them."

I agree about the OEM struts doesn't fit in the TRD Strut box!

idk, but make sure you cut your bumpstopts to accomodate for the shorter struts.

Handling is a different story. Much better with the trd struts.

i had that setup before and trust me it doesn't make a difference it wouldn't sit lower with the trd struts. if your looking for a nice low look with a nice ride i suggest trd struts with tein s-techs and tein are a lot cheaper then trd springs.

TRD shocks are much heavier! Walk a 10,000 sq feet dealership from parts to indoor parking area. Stand at cashier while resting the box on your feet as you write a check. Then walk by three different showroom areas while carrying that box!

well idk what s-techs your riding on but they dont feel anything like the stock ride. the ride is really ruff and it hurts your handling.

Apprently, TRD suspension is in tune with Illinois potholes!

I ran over three holes this year so far, all three fit my wheel quite well. Struts still want to work! These roads in Illinois SU*K! I would clap out loud to TRD & Toyota for choosing these struts but there's no emoticon for it so I'll just :bow:

I have both and I don't know what you are talking about with the bouncyness. I would guess it is just with the springs on the stock socks. My friend was just riding in my car the other day and was surprised how well it rides being lowered.

I'm gonna weigh in on this, the TRD struts do make the car sit lower than any combo I have seen! Frankly i would love a little higher stance. Potholes suck! And so do most driveways!
