Default trd 19 wheels...which springs?

I know springs have been beat to death but im having trouble deciding which springs to get with the 19 inch trd wheels that will not rub....i wouldnt care so much about the rubbing but the girlfriend will be driving this one and i dont want to hear her _____ about it! so what will give me the lowest drop without rubbing on the 19 inch wheels? hopefully someone with the trd wheels will chime in. thanks!

Yea, as vegan said, DF210's are your lowest drop without rubbing. Check out the last two pictures at the bottom of page 1 of this thread:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=198453

birdy233 is on 19x8.5 +45 offset wheels and DF210 springs. He doesn't rub at all, so you'll be fine with TRD wheels (19x8 +48 offset) and DF springs.

ok so i just installed the springs last night...the stance is awesome, the only problem is that when i took it for a test drive i staqrted hearing a noise coming from the front end, its kinda hard to explain but it sounds like the brakes are rubbing the rotors but it is only happening every once in a while. its like metal to metal but its not constant and as you slow down the noise has a longer duration...could the rotor be rubbing something like the dust cover or the brake pads? i put the strut back just like it came out so im not sure why the rotor would be rubbing something?

It could possibly be the rotor on the dustshield. You should jack it back up, put it on jack stands, pull the wheels off, pull on the e-brake, take the car out of gear (or neutral if it's auto, of course), and spin the hubs. Only way to actually figure out what it is.
But I think it's probably the dustshield.

Could even fit your arm through the wheel and push in on the dust shields. See if it helps.

thats a good idea...thanks i should have thought about putting it on the jackstands and spinning it. im hoping its the dustshields or maybe i bent a wear indicator on the break pad....just trying to think about what all it could be. i know i dont want to pull those struts out again!

I don't see any reason you'd have to pull the strut out. Just play around with the wheel when it's up in the air.
I know I didn't have my sway bar endlink tightened down properly when I first did my springs and sways. FREAKED ME OUT!!! I turn and hear a clunk. Hit a somewhat large bump CLUNK. But I got the car back up in the air and saw that the nut wasn't tightened very well, torqued 'er down, good as gold!

Torque specs for a spring swap and rear sway bar are in the TRD instructions.
Springs:
http://www.trdsparks.com/install/PTR07-52080inst.pdf
Rear Sway Bar:
http://www.trdsparks.com/install/PTR11-52080inst.pdf
Other sway bars should include the torque specs in their own instructions.
