Satellite radio wiring tech question..
Been looking everywhere on the tech forums and so on.. hopefully someone has a pictorial.
I've been a die-hard Sirius fanatic since September and I'm looking for a new plug-and-play kit for my xB (not looking to permanently plug directly into the head unit.. just in case I get a new one anyway.)
Anyone have pics and/or an equipment list of what it took to wire the 60 ft. cable under/over the seating up to the head unit/cupholder area?
I took the 'I don't give a damn about this crappy car' duct tape technique with the old commuter vehicle.. no way in hell on my xB!
Thanks in advance..

oneslow.. Yeah, the plug and play kits.
I already have the Kenwood Here2Anywhere and plan on getting (maybe) the portable Sirius one (Xact, Xtra.. something). Just getting the antenna wire from the back roof through the cabin is the only tricky part.
I don't feel like paying the body shop or Toyota a ton of cash for that if it's easy to do. Upgrading the system will have to come later, so it can't be a one shot deal.

you can get entrance into the car at the grommet that has the wires that run into the hatch... poke a hole through it and make sure you use some type of silicone to seal it back up when you are done...
as for the interior.. the panels aren't hard to remove... just take your time in removing them.. i don't have an xb so i cna't take pics for you sorry...
becareful when you are running the antenna wire you do not want it to get kinked...

dude u don 't have to run the wire through the rear hatch or any other funky stuff...remove your speedo and get some velcro put some on the antenna and then on top of the remote entry module(right next to the speedo under the dash) put your speedo back on and you're good to go. the signal will come in fine and no one will know you have the sat in your car
