For those who already bought an xA or xB.. what was the total you paid including taxes and fees. Also if you financed it, what did your monthly statements come out to be?

View Full Version : Total price? serge2k 07-11-2003, 02:15 PM For those who already bought an xA or xB.. what was the total you paid including taxes and fees. Also if you financed it, what did your monthly statements come out to be? serge2k 07-11-2003, 07:44 PM oh forgot to mention... did you pay MSRP or did you buy accesories? ScionVan 07-11-2003, 07:53 PM It's pretty easy to get an approximation of how much your total, out-the-door price will be: just configure a Scion the way you like it, with the accessories you want, on the www.scion.com web site's "Build Your Scion" configurator. It'll give you the MSRP, plus destination charges. Now to determine how much tax, and license and registration fees, etc. are on top of that, just add about 10% to that previous total, and you'll get a general idea of how much everything will cost you. CapnZit 08-12-2003, 02:48 AM I traded im my 89 Caravan (I nicknamed it the Crapmobile), and put a few hundred downfor an Xa at Carson Toyota. I was looking at used cars and getting both sticker and milage shock. I test drove an automaticwith not much in the way of extras. It was everything I was looking for at a very reasonable price.I got out the door with an extended warranty and some other stuff for a aliitle over $17, at a 7% . I found out later that night my credit union was offering 3.75% through another dealership, but I wasn't going to quibble over something I plan on paying off early anyway. I like the way I was treated during the whole process. I always felt I got shabby treatment from Del Amo Dodge, and would never go back there. I came away from this experience very happy.:D FreeState 09-05-2003, 04:59 AM My total was just under $19,000. I got the xB, floor mats, stock alarm, paint protection and 7 year warranty (if Ihad to do it over again Im not sure I would get the paint protection or the warranty but oh well :? ). I got 4.25% intrest. My payments are $246 a month for 5 years (however I still have not got my first bill- its only been a week). I put $5000 down. Slopoke21m 09-05-2003, 05:28 AM my msrp was $16,027. + tax, lic, doc fee. I put $1,000. down (was going to put 2 down if they financed wheels but then the dealership backed out of that) so i took the other grand and bought wheels for $840. from local tire shop. Then added this extended warranty. Payment is $288. per month at 5% through toyota. By the way the car i originally went in to buy was a blue stick with the rear spoiler and cargo cover, but was told that car was over a month away, so it was take the car with $1,500. more in options, or wait, or get one driven almost 200 miles away and even then that was a stretch. So I got Scion involved, it got ugly (real ugly) and i still ended up with all the options, but the folks at Scion did help out a bit. See Ya, Louie allblackxb 09-05-2003, 05:33 AM I paid $16,200 out the door. Automatic though :( . By the way ERIC how did you only pay like $15,500 when you got like all the lights and everything? hatchbox 09-05-2003, 05:40 AM 14,970 MSRP for 5 speed with spoiler, floor mats, fog lights. 16,3K something out the door I put 5000 down and paying 330 over 36 months royder1976 09-05-2003, 02:33 PM I got my xB for $15,500 shipped to me. I put $3,000 down with a 4.25% and pay $239.00 per month for 60 months. coasterlvr 09-05-2003, 04:09 PM I paid $15,525.33. Out the door with LA County tax although I bought it in O.C. I guess you have to pay the tax depending on where you are gonna register it. I went with the 1payment plan. iaknew 10-13-2003, 02:42 AM Paid right about $15K out the door for a xA automatic. Only option was the floor mats. We put $6,000 down and pay about $172 a month for 60 months. DibujoB 10-13-2003, 03:58 AM I paid about 16900 out the door, but I had a few accessories thrown in there. Besk_one 10-15-2003, 10:42 PM my price was $16583 with all the options i had put on - adding taxes it came out a bit under $19000 out the door i got 4.35% finacing through toyota and $6000 down got me payments of about $226 a month :) too bad my driving record is ____e - insurance is $211 a month - still $437 a month insurance included isn't half bad - my 2000 VW gti vr6 cost me $553 a month w/o insurance! Brian Hip_To_Be_Square 10-16-2003, 12:12 AM I find these posts extremely enlightening. The dealer at Palo Alto Toyota was trying to tell me I would have to put 1/3 of the price down. He said it was a requirement of "the bank", yet I see people here are putting much less than that down. What a joker. This is the same guy who made photocopies of my drivers license when I went for a test drive. At least I know I won't be buying from him. Ad-roc 10-16-2003, 12:28 AM Go to Stevenscreek scion, they are coo. Ad-roc bartender_angel 10-27-2003, 01:35 PM hmm.. I have my XB without any accesories.... the only thing i added was automatic transmission (and forced to buy the floor mats) how come i still end up with 16500 out the door? 2fixA 10-27-2003, 04:12 PM my xA with mats, foglights and six airbags (safety kind, not the cool kind) out the door TT&L for $15.4 (Phantom Pearl Grey, Manual Transmission) McG_XB 10-27-2003, 06:50 PM OTD, total price for my manual tranny xB with extras, taxes, and finance fees was very close to $17K . Extras that I got were floormats, fog lights, obx shift knob and pedals, 6 disc cd, and cargo cover. I waived the extended warranty option. I put $10K down and my payments (5 year @ 4.25 APR) are $123 a month. Lynch_Scion_CT 12-13-2004, 04:25 PM for the one who pays 200 a month for insurance and thinks thats a lot, YOU SUCK. i pay 315, which is more than my car payment... and my boyfriends is $609 PER MONTH... i envy you i really, really, envy you |
