Hey all... I'm more of a reader than a person that talks on a msg board.. But I've read practically everything I can and I'm still clueless.. I'm an idiot when it comes to modifying the exterior of a car..

I'm going to be purchasing an xB in February..(Driving from Indiana to pick one up in West Virginia).. And I hate to not have shiny new rims and tires waiting for it back home.. Here's the problem: I have no idea what wheels will fit on it. I know that I want some 17" racing style wheels, but when I go shopping for them online, I can only be about 50% sure they'll fit from my weak knowledge.. Can anyone tell me a car model, make, and year that I can type in on a website so I can see wtf fits? ;P

Like, if the wheels on a 1996 Toyota Tercel will fit on a 2004 Scion xB, that's all I need to know..

Thanks

Enter 2002 Mazda Miata as the vehicle type and it will give you what you need. In addition to the correct bolt pattern (4×100), and type of mounting hardware (12×1.50 lug nuts), the Miata shares the same centerbore as the Scion as well (54.1 mm). If they give you a choice of offsets, the lower the better. Ideally you should get ET25 if you can find it. I would not go higher than ET40. (The higher the offset number, the more the wheels will sit in closer to the suspension)

I wasn't able to browse a few sites because of their not having Scion in the vehicle list ;P. Great info, thanks...

Now if I can just find something I like in price range :)
