i need some exhaust input
ok so my set up is alpha works header, megan s-pipe, megan mid with a resonator, HKS hi pwoer axel back.
so its a little annoying on the high way and i might have a leak after the header, and it shakes because i didn't use the brackets that hold the header at the bottom. so my options are
1. keep what i have and try to fix the leak and put the bracket on
2. remove the header and get a OEM style exhaust
3. remove the header and keep the HKS
4. ideas?

the easiest way to fix the problem is to install the bottom brackets. I'm a mechanic...have been for years... it is really not wise to run your exhaust like you are. they are easy to install. I would use a little mid-level (red in color) loctite on the threads prior to installing the bolts. You will still be able to get them back off if you need to, and that level/grade loctite is designed for that temperature range of exhaust systems. I'm not sure on the Alpha Works header, but on my Megan Racing header I had to slightly notch out 1/4 inch one of the mounting brackets to fit correctly. That should fix your problem. if you have any questions... just shoot me a pm and I'll help you out.
